2014 California Asset Building Coalition, Bay Area Asset Funders Network, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Call for Presentations

Editor’s note: The post below is from the CA Asset Building Coalition

The California Asset Building Coalition, Bay Area Asset Funders Network, and Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco invite you to submit a workshop idea for our annual statewide symposium that will be held on November 20, 2014 in San Francisco.

Our theme, “Assets Matter: Building an Inclusive Economy for All Californians,” and presentations will provide a forum where nonprofits, financial institutions, public agencies, funders, advocates, and elected officials can explore strategies that enable low-wealth families to achieve financial security and have a stake in our state’s economy.

This opportunity will allow you to amplify your voice, get feedback from peers, and have visibility in front of an audience of prominent leaders. To present at the symposium, you can easily submit a 500-word presentation proposal online. We intend to elevate work that reflects strong promise for success, replication, and measurable impact. Detailed guidelines and an online application form are available at www.calassetbuilding.org.

The deadline to submit a presentation is October 10, 2014

For assistance responding to this call for presentations or general questions about the 2014 assets symposium, please email: admin@ calassetbuildingcoalition.org.

The event provides a dynamic networking and peer-to-peer learning experience including a variety of plenary sessions, workshops, and an awards reception.
